[Poem] The long wait

 

THE LONG WAIT

I have been waiting for this day

Yes, I have been waiting patiently

I'm here waiting to hold you passionately.

I have been waiting for the day

I have really been waiting to hold you

Your curves are more attractive than ever

So, i will wait diligently.

I have been waiting for the awesome day

I pray my wait won't be in vain

It's really confusing how I kept waiting.

To be with you forever.

I have been waiting for the day

The wait is really long 

But what can I do than to wait?

I have been waiting for this day

Truly I have been waiting 

To see your gorgeous face 

Yes, your face is more beauteous.

I have been waiting for it

How long will it be?

Is the wait here to stay?

No matter what, I will keep waiting

I have been waiting to see you 

Patiently I have been doing so

Waiting for you but when exactly 

When will you pass me the cup.

I have been waiting for this day 

I guess it will be a dream come true 

Like Joseph I dreamt 

But here I am still waiting.

I have been waiting for this day

The day that I will be happy 

Happy, doing the things I dreamt of 

The striking things I saw.

I have been waiting for you

To be with you even when it's annoying

We are both imperfect

But I know our imperfections is not defect.

I have been waiting for this day 

The day we will work together

In perfect harmony we will work

The work of the master.

I have been waiting for this day, 

The day that has been assigned.

Assigned for our fulfilment

Undescribable it's going to be.

I have been waiting for this day 

The day you will gladly smile 

Even without seeing me 

For our Happiness is in our hands.

I have been waiting for this day

The day you will dance for me 

Even knowing you are not a good dancer 

Because with passion you will dance. 

I have been waiting for that day 

In which we will laugh without tears

Although tears of joy is permitted

For our tears is unique to us.

I have been waiting for the deal day 

The day we will play games 

Mind boggling games it might be

But we will play it like veterans.

I have been longing for this day 

An eventful day it will be

Flowers will be everywhere

To make the place alluring.

I have been waiting for this day 

A great day it will be!
